MEET YOUR COACHES

PERE CAMPISTOL AGUSTI

Pere is a graduated Exercise Scientist at Griffith University and L1 Surfing Australia Coach. Since 2018 he's been combining his knowledge, passion and experience to help surfers in and out of the water. 

His dry-land training interests spin around science-informed strength & conditioning and full range mobility conditioning. He also has a strong interest in breathing and its link with performance and health. He undertook a one-year mentorship at HPHP, is an EXOS Fitness Specialist, Functional Range Conditioning, Kinstrech, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation and Surf Survival Apnea instructor.

RUBÉN GONZÁLEZ GARCÍA

Rubén completed his Sport & Physical Activity Degree in Universidad De Las Palmas De Gran Canaria and temporarily moved to Madrid to become a University Expert in Personal Training in Universidad La Salle. From 2015 Rubén has trained young surf promises from Lanzarote, recreational surfers and international competitive surfers. 

His main interests spin around offering surf-specific strength & conditioning services to improve surfers' physical capacity. He uses science and his personal experience, both as a talented surfer and coach, to drive his program design. Although surfing is his big passion, he loves other sports too. Rubén is also a certified Functional Strength & Conditioning Coach with Michael Boyle and a Specialist on Readapting and Preventing Sporting Injuries.

What are the requirements for this workshop?

Be at least 18 years old, (or 16 with parent or guardian consent), and have no medical contraindications for apnea training (provide medical certification).

What is the price for this workshop?

The original price is 150€. Get in early and save!

Can I eat before the pool session?

Yes you can. However, make sure you have a light meal (e.g. smoothie, muesli bar...) since digestion will affect your breath-holding performance.
